ABSTRACT
Structural integrity is very critical in constructing protective greenhouses. This study aimed to evaluate the structural integrity of several greenhouses in some selected areas vis-à-vis the existing National Structural Code of the Philippines. A total of 25 existing greenhouse structures in the CALABARZON, CAR, and NCR were documented. Twenty-two out of 25 greenhouses were structurally analyzed and evaluated. Results revealed that majority of the greenhouse structures did not adhere to the existing structural design standards in the country.
Keywords: greenhouse structures, structural assessment, structural integrity and serviceability, stress ratio, compliance to standards
